WICHITA – Mark Kahrs, candidate for the Kansas House of Representatives District 87, which covers East Wichita, announced today that he has raised $36,570.00. With over 200 contributors, Kahrs ends the cycle with $51,696.02 cash-on-hand.
Kahrs is a small business owner, practicing law in his own firm in Wichita. As a small business owner, Kahrs understands that lower taxes, smaller government and economic freedom will help grow our economy.
A fourth generation Kansan, Kahrs grew up in Wichita and graduated from Wichita High School East. He earned his BA from Wichita State University and graduated from Washburn University School of Law in 1991.
Kahrs is married to Sherri and they have three young daughters. Kahrs and his family are members of Heartland Community Church in Wichita, Kansas.
